DAN, DARA AND LUKE REPRESENTED PROJECT 52 TO THE ROYAL COURT PRESIDED OVER BY THE DEPUTY BAILIFFS, GREFFIER, JURATS AND CONNETABLES.

Many other license applicants were represented by lawyers, but in keeping with the spirit of building a self sufficient group we gave it a go.

All of the court staff were very friendly and supportive, so when it came to our turn we handed our beautiful bound presentations to the Jurats and addressed the court.

Presentation here.

After a few questions the bench retired to consider the application, since changing a restaurant license to a pub license is not encouraged.

It was a tense wait, but extremely gratifying when the license was awarded.

A pub requires more toilets than a restaurant so we need to have the toilet upgrade completed before we can go to a subsidiary court to have our capacity ratified at 60.

Full speed ahead - comms on 22nd March !
